Saturday Workout

Run Day...
5K

Todays run was not a PR, but it was about as solid as my last time on 11/21 and again on 10/22
Each of these runs have been less than 23 minutes (less than 0:07:45 min miles).
Next month I will do the run on a track and see how fast I can get the time down to...

Something to point out - With this training program, there is hardly any running. Seriously. What I post is what I do - and if you read through the history, the running is fairly sporadic. You will have a tough time finding another workout method that not only increases strength, flexibility, metabolic conditioning and increases your overall capacity BUT ALSO maintains and enhances your ability to run faster, ride longer, swim harder, and overall have FUN.

Week over week I am hitting new PR's, maintaining solid running times, and overall getting stronger - all with LESS THAN 45 minutes of training a day (Some days the workout is literally less than 10 minutes long!!!). It's not about how much you work out, it's HOW you work out and what you are doing.

Friday Workout

Front Squats...
Find your 5 Rep Max
It had been a while since I did this workout
I have increased in the amount of weight I can do
I maxed out at 175#'s... (I failed after 3 reps on 185#)
Considering that I just had a new PR on Back Squats on 9/30 with 195#
I think I did pretty well. The front squats are more challenging.
Either way, this is significantly more than my Body Weight
and I keep improving week over week
Proof that CrossFit WORKS!
